Carl Palumbo ~
Carl Palumbo, M.D., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, and injuries to the hand and upper extremities. Dr. Palumbo received his B.S. in Molecular Biology at UCLA and completed medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. His Orthopedic Surgery Residency was completed at UC Davis Medical Center. Fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery was completed at The Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Palumbo is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He also has a certificate of additional qualification (CAQ) in hand surgery, and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Palumbo has several publications in Orthopedic text books and journals. He has a special interest in complex wrist and elbow injuries.
